The Silk’n device has been designed for body treatments with the most common areas being a women's legs, underarms, arms and bikini area and a man's chest, stomach, back and bikini area.

Silk’n may now also be used for the treatment of woman's facial hair such as on the chin and upper lip and hair from the cheek line downwards.  Extra caution should be used when treating areas on the face to avoid the eyes. 

And as with other parts of the body, care should be taken to avoid sun exposure before and after treatments with Silk’n.  Acceptable means of sun protection are using covering garments or sunscreen (SPF higher than 50) used continuously for 3 weeks before and after treatment.
